EZ Hi Tech Buyer Map

Zeev Sela | EZ Hi Tech | October 2026

As of 16 Oct 2026

EZ Hi Tech services, rents and sells prepress, CTP and digital printing equipment to printing companies, with service contracts, remote support and calibration alongside.

This page maps the kinds of print businesses that buy that, roughly how many of most of them there are in the United States, and who usually signs off inside them.

Where your buyers sit

Each group ties to work your own site describes. CTP and workflow serve plate-based printers, and your product range covers label, packaging, box and envelope work. Counts are United States firms, banded.

Who signs off at each group

In a print business the person who feels the downtime raises the need, and the person who owns the budget signs.

Why the timing is good for plate-based shops

Your own post on Kodak ending support for legacy CTP models makes the case well. Shops still running the Magnus and Trendsetter lines lose manufacturer parts, firmware and technical help, and a breakdown can mean days of lost production.

That gives every printer, book printer and prepress shop still on one of those models a decision to make. They can keep the machine running under a service contract with you, or trade it in for a digital press or a different CTP. Your post offers both.

What the signer is really buying

Your customers write about uptime on your testimonials page. The system went down and you kept them running, with a quick response and minimal downtime. The owner or VP who signs is buying the confidence that a job ships on time.

Your own repair post tells it from the prepress manager's side, with an early morning error and an order due by the weekend. That person often starts the conversation, even when the owner makes the call.

Ten people to start with

The people who usually sign at the groups above, one a company. Work emails and phone numbers checked on Oct 16, 2026.

Where to start

Start with shops on legacy CTP

A short note to owners and prepress managers at commercial and book printers, built around the end of manufacturer support and what it means for their next breakdown, speaks to a problem they already have. The service contract and the trade-in are the two answers.

Rent instead of buy

Your CTP and workflow rental, a one-year commitment with the service contract included, removes the capital decision. That is a clean message for owners of smaller shops who know their platesetter is aging but will not sign for a new one.

Follow printers into labels and packaging

Your range already covers label presses, digital packaging printers, box printing and envelope presses. Commercial printers adding packaging work, and carton and flexible packaging converters adding digital presses for short runs, are a second group for the same service team.

Built from public federal business counts and the company's own website, counts banded deliberately.
